BIOGRAPHY

Amalia Dyson-Carroll is a British Guitarist from Birmingham. She started learning the guitar at age ten with Hannah Woollacott and was a part of various guitar ensembles, NYGE and BSGE under Nick Chamberlain and Mark Ashford.

Amalia is in her final year at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama under the tuition of Helen Sanderson, John Mills and Zoran Dukić.

She has participated in masterclasses with David Russell, Xuefei Yang and Petrit Çeku amongst others.

Amalia enjoys working in duos with other instruments and regularly performs alongside soprano and guitar, and was a finalist in RWCMD’s Orpheus Voice and Guitar competition.

She is passionate about Latin American Music and often programs this into her music.
