Amalia Dyson-Carroll is a British Guitarist from Birmingham. She started learning the guitar at age ten with Hannah Woollacott and was a part of various guitar ensembles, NYGE and BSGE under Nick Chamberlain and Mark Ashford.
Amalia graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2025 under the tuition of Helen Sanderson, John Mills and Zoran Dukić. She works full time for Birmingham Music Services teaching across schools in Birmingham.
Amalia enjoys working in duos with other instruments and regularly performs alongside soprano and guitar, achieving first place in RWCMD’s Orpheus Voice and Guitar competition in her final year.
She is passionate about Latin American Music and often programs this into her music.
